The Board of Governors, who are responsible for admissions to Trinity St Mary’s Primary School (TSM), admit 30 children into Reception each September.
Prospective parents should contact the school office and speak to Debbie Bennett, to obtain further information about our school or if they would like support with application procedures in order to make an application for a place at TSM. If you are interested in applying to TSM for a Reception place and would like to gain a place under the criteria of faith, please complete the Religious Affiliation Form and return it directly to the school. Additional information can be also sent to the school, by completing the application form. Both forms can be found below.
The local authority deals with all applications for Reception and applications must be made to the borough in which you live. This must be done, usually online, no later than 15th January each year, for the September intake.
Appeals Timeline
At TSM parents / carers, who are not offered a place for their child, have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel. Parents wishing to appeal should obtain an appeal form from the school and send it to reach the Clerk to the Appeal panel, c/o: John.Winnifrith@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk, within 21 school days of the date of the letter confirming the governors’ decision not to offer a place.
The school will ensure that those making an appeal receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing and ensure that any decision letters are sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever feasible.
Should some appeals be unsuccessful, the governing body will not consider further applications from those parents within the same academic year unless there have been significant and material changes in their circumstances.
